Sabine Mersch is a data protection expert certified in EuroPriSe (European Privacy Seal). The International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) granted her the title of “Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe”. She has over fourteen years of experience in the field of data protection.
Her consulting firm ‘The Privacy Office’ (TPO) works as an external Data Protection Officer and provides consulting services to small, medium, and large companies in Europe in the field of compliance with data protection regulations.
Prior to establishing her own firm, Sabine Mersch worked as a corporate lawyer in the field of mergers and acquisitions, law and compliance for an international brewery group operating in Belgium and in Germany. This fully qualified attorney began her professional career as a lawyer with the Brussels law firm Liedekerke, Wolters, Waelbroeck & Kirckpatrick, and as a research associate at the University of Konstanz in Germany.
